Julia Verville, Program Director
Julia is an ecologist with experience in academia, philanthropy, and the non-profit sector. Her work has focused on global environmental change, the interface between science and public policy, and science education. Before joining Tilia, Julia advised private donors as a consultant with Boston Environmental Research. She has contributed to assessments of climate change impacts as a Research Associate at ATMOS Research & Consulting and as a staff scientist at the Union of Concerned Scientists. Prior to that, she oversaw programs that supported scientific research and minority participation in the sciences at the David and Lucile Packard Foundation.
Julia received a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Ph.D. from Stanford University.
